Photo of windows outside of house. Wahkiakum PUD is helping its customers reduce their monthly electric bills and make their homes and businesses more comfortable through our weatherization program. According to ENERGY STAR, sealing and insulating the “envelope” or “shell” of your home — its outer walls, ceiling, windows, doors, and floors — is often the most cost effective way to improve energy efficiency and comfort.

Under the Residential and Non-Residential Windows Rebate Program, Wahkiakum PUD may be able to pay a portion of the cost to replace the windows in your residence or small business. Qualifying residential homes include single, multifamily and manufactured (1984 or newer) homes with electric heat as its primary heat source. Qualifying non-residential spaces include small commercial, industrial and agricultural businesses with electric heat as its primary heat source and with total floor area under 20,000 square feet.

Pre-qualification from Wahkiakum PUD is required to be eligible for all utility rebate programs. View our Residential Windows Pre-qualification Application (11.2018) or Non-Residential Windows Pre-qualification Application (11.2018) for step-by-step program guidelines and current rebate rates.

Before installing any residential weatherization measure customers must refer to BPA Weatherization Specifications for a full description of qualifying residential requirements.

Customer may opt to self-install windows or select a contractor licensed, insured and bonded to work in Washington State; visit WA State Department of Labor & Industries or contact Wahkiakum PUD to confirm contractor eligibility. Contact Wahkiakum PUD for more information.
